Many of my friends and I have been discussing PASSION. So many folks talk about passion, "go find your passion", or "I want to live with passion". Those are great affirmations, but affirmations with no supportive action is merely talk. First of all, how do you determine passion? What is it? That is simple, your passion is what you would do regardless of pay. If you never received a dime from it, you would do it. |
My passion is teaching metaphysics. It blends into each cell in my body, and thus into my life. I am fortunate that my career as a reader and teacher offer me a sense of support. It is my default, however. I know some people who are writers, and they write even if they never receive a contract, never sell a word....still they write. So, what is your default? Are you a super organizer? Perhaps you are the queen of couponing. Is exercise or yoga something that drives you? Discovering and claiming your passion is the first key to living it. Each passion, no matter how odd or unique you consider it, can have an official job to support it. Psychics can seek out life coaching, psychology or sociology, social work, addiction counselor etc. Healers of course can also do the same above professions (as they are a form of healer), but also nursing, home care, right down to pharmacy techs. As long as your passion feels as if it is working to help someone heal themselves, it is done. What if your passion is puzzles? Yes, that too can be turned into a career. Such as proof reader, discovering patterns in accounting work, etc. As you can see, discover your passion first, THEN find a job that fits it, not the other way around. Couponer? Try working with budgets! I hope this helps you clarify how to proceed to Live With Passion!
