Judge Not...Unless You Are A Judge

I’ve always been known as a renegade spiritualist who nearly gags over cosmic woo-woo clichés and disingenuous platitudes.   Everyone who considers themselves God based seeks to see the truth in all situations.  It is when we speak out on those truths that those with no other platform slash out with “I thought you were spiritual, you shouldn’t judge someone.”  First of all, I understand why that is true from a metaphysical standpoint, not just a bullet point from Sunday school.   If I see an untruth supported, I will speak out.  If I see an injustice being done, I will share what I see with others.  I will not hide these things under the guise of being spiritual.  That is faux spiritualism, not being a truth baring soul.  But when speaking and defending the truth makes one seem angry or judgmental it becomes difficult and extremely uncomfortable for the spiritual warrior.

There is a quote by Edmund Burke that says, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”  The problem becomes when an action is considered evil and wrong.

If a clerk of courts refuses a court order to provide marriage certificates to same sex marriages, she may be following her consideration of evil and wrong and truly believe her stance is God centered.  A gay couple may instead, see the clerk as the essence of evil.  Each perspective is seen from the eyes viewing the situation, from the experiences, from the religious teachings, from the cultural aspect, etc.  So then, each can feel the other is THE perpetuator of evil.

So, we leave it to the courts to decide what is right and wrong.  Who is deserving of the rights, either to refuse service or to marry.   The courts decided what the rights to upheld are.  The courts have decided what the United States “right” is.  Not what someone’s interpretation of God’s decree is or should be.

The reason we must turn to our courts is due to our diversity.  If we all worshiped black cats on Mondays, then there would never be a problem.  But if you worship a calico cat on Tuesdays, then we have an issue.   You should not be allowed for force me to worship a calico cat IN MY PERSONAL LIFE.  If, however, a calico Tuesday worshiping person comes into my PUBLIC business, or (worse yet) a GOVERNMENT position (where I am paid by all cat loving citizens) and I refuse your business (or rights) based on my black cat worshiping philosophes, then I am WRONG.  Period.  Wrong.   Who am I to make you feel your calico cat is less than my black cat.  I mean really don’t all cats meow and ignore us?  In the end it is based on the individual’s love of a breed or color of cat, not all cats fit all homes.

So in summery of this latest rant there are a few highlights.  If you are a Lightworker and spiritualist, you do not need to walk quietly with hands folded whispering forgiveness platitudes and speaking of non-judgement.  Remember this can be a dangerous game of keeping your head down and being conscious avoidance.  The best man I ever heard of when into a temple and “tore that place up” based on what was happening in God’s name.  Stand up warriors, it is ok to scream and not whisper.

Secondly, when we give everyone the right to marry, to divorce or to be an outright idiot, then it is a RIGHT.  Just like women were FINALLY allowed to vote (thanks to the Iron Jaw Angels who withstood the anger of those speaking against it) in 1920.  Keep your calico cat worshiping philosophies to yourself.

Love Y’all,

Tina Michelle

The Professional Psychic Practice

We've all seen the well produced television shows, the glossy websites, and the embossed business cards of the professional psychic.

I have personally witnessed  a wave of "newbies" come into the psychic practitioner world.   If the consumer were to check their actual credentials, they may be less inclined to sit in those chairs for those readings.

Never forget most polished and popular psychic medium does not mean best.
it means they have great PR managers.
Now, don't get me wrong, everyone has to start somewhere (just as I dd in the beginning).   My issue comes with the lack of training, education and certainly experience before taking on the title of "Professional".

Let me educate you.  Many "certified mediums" come in very different forms.  Some study intensely for years at various Spiritual encampments, or with a direct mentor.  Those are the well trained.  Now, are they talented on top of that?  Let's hope so!  Then the client should receive a great session.   What about other "certified mediums"?  I happen to know there are people whom have never had an ounce of previous training, or even basic natural talent, go to a weekend class become "certified" by an industry big name, and hang their "professional" sign the next day.   That is correct, after a weekend class, they are stamped as authentic.   I know this as fact, as many of them quickly realize they are unprepared for the responsibility of being a psychic  medium, and often seek someone like myself out for authentic training.

Then there are the card readers.  This used to mean one thing and one thing only...tarot.  About 10 years ago a new (and I feel dangerous) trend began.  I saw it at a psychic fair when someone picked up a deck of oracle cards that had no set meanings.  You simply looked at the artwork on the card and told the client your "feelings".  Now this would be great if the reader were extremely clairvoyant, this was usually not the case that I discovered.  What I feared proved true too many times, over and over again, expo after expo.  I discovered non-talented readers with little to no experience but an ego that drove them to prove themselves.   The outcome?  Confused clients, vague sessions, and the dilution of the core of metaphysics.  The metaphysical book and card market became flooded with oracle cards that had little to no meaning per card, but rather some vague "would fit anyone" type of dribble.  Usually the word for the card's representation is written on it.  This has lead to client's thinking "hey, I can get a deck of those and do this myself".  The problem is, the cards are too vague, the psychic is less than educated and now the client turned "reader" has all of the above with a huge lack of experience.  What a mess!

The last event I was at I walked around, read the signage of the various readers, and investigated a bit.   Out of 15 readers who used any sort of cards, only one, ONE actually read tarot cards.  Why is this the premium of readers?

Tarot reading is an ancient art, that not only requires learning each of the 78 cards, but also LIVING them.  Only through living them can you truly understand their depth and their true learning opportunities.

The Anniversary

10/30/2014

Tomorrow marks the fourth anniversary of my divorce.  It has been quite a journey of self-discovery and healing.    I took some time today and reflected back on my marriage, and the years that led to the end of it.   Honestly, with hindsight being such an obvious observation, it was over decades before the plug was finally pulled.  I've been through the finger pointing, the guilt trips, and finally have come to resolution.   I have chewed it until there is no flavor left.  I've searched for answers and discovered most, but some mysteries will never be solved.  I've had to become ok with that.

Now I am here, at this point of my life, asking myself, "well, what do we want now on this journey?"  I ask about love and romance, my career and my life's work, my family and my position in it, and my health of course.   It is the perfect time to create any life we want as we are leaving this 2014 (a global 7 year) and heading into a global 8.
